Need your advice. I've been asked to make some cupcakes with designer purse logos. I've searched the Internet with no luck. I figured that they are probably transfer sheets, while others could be made out of gumpaste/fondant. Are the bakeries that ate making these printing them with there edible ink printers? Also, I was thinking about the copyrights to the logos? . I searched most of the cupcake pages here but didn't see any. Any way, need your advice and comments as I am new to this. Thanks.
Yes, there is definitely a copyright issue. You'd need to get permission from the copyright owner first.
Hi Leah, thanks. How is this done? And does everyone do this? New to this so any info is helpful. Thanks so much.
To request permission to reproduce a company's logo, you would need to contact that company -- contact info is usually found on the company's web site.
For example, here is contact info for Coach (I would try the customer service number first as opposed to sales):
M-F 8am - 11pm EST
Sat 9am - 7pm EST
SUN 11am - 7pm EST
