I want to make a pineapple cake starting with a mix. I tried white mix yesterday and replaced the water with pineapple juice, not from concentrate, and it BARELY tasted like pineapple. If you didn't know I put the juice in it, you'd think it was vanilla.

Does anyone have any doctored mix recipes for pineapple cake?

TIA!

You need to add an 8 oz can of crushed pineapple along w/using juice for the liquid. Drain the pinapple, then add more juice to make the amount of liquid needed. It also would help if you used fzn juice concentrate.

I realize this is a little late, but try starting with DH pineapple supreme.
