ANyone have an idea on how I can incorporate track and gymnastics together on a cake? I don't need anything too fancy and I don't have time to make sneakers.. This is for a 9yr old...anyone help me as I have to do this cake for tomorrow.//

Have a bar going across the cake, 2d, 3d...whatever you have time for. Then have a runner jumping over one end of the bar, with a gymnast balancing on the other end.

I'm trying to envision this..hmm..ok,,so put a bar all across cake then make a sugarpaste runner run over one end and a sugarpaste gymnast on other end of bar balancing??/

so what if I don't have time for sugarpaste figurines?

You could do a running track around the bottom of the cake, maybe with running silohettes around the side of the cake and then maybe some gymnast silohettes on the top?
