i have tried diffrent ways to make butter cream but i still run into the proublem of it melting does anyone have a good recipes that they would share with me
What different ways have you made it? What recipes have you used? And when does it melt??

Are you maybe adding too much liquid and making it too soft??

I am looking for a buttercream frosting that taste like the buttercream served at Melrose Diner in Philadelphia. Does anyone have a clue as to what goes into their frosting that they serve on the Strawberry Shortcake? I have tried making the buttercream frosting at home using:
Powdered Sugar and almond/vanilla extract and it was to sweet to even eat. Please help.......Thank you.
