first off LOVE this website so much inspiration from so many talented people.
I am a 23 years old mother with a beautiful 4 month old daughter in
need of ideas for her cake and also tips on how to execute these cakes
any comments would be appreciated
i know its a tad early but i wanna be prepared for it

start by chosing a theme, then choose color and you can go from there.

Thats what my daughter did, she picked a Zebra, Cheetah print, we found everything online,...balloons, invitations, streamers were at party city to match which was strange had never seen them there...lol

and then she told me what colors, pink, electric pink, purple and the prints...she wanted the "I" intitial on top of the cake and I couldnt see spending 30.00 or more on that for a 1st bday....so I bought a little wooden "I" at Michaels and also some Blind and glued it on the "I" as a topper.

That was my last cake in my pictures. So find out what they like, and what theme they want to go from there...good luck.
