Cake Of Favorites - How To Marry Them Together?
Decorating By goeasycakes Updated 31 May 2011 , 4:43am by platinumlady
I will be making a birthday cake for my 4 yr old. Her birthday isn't for a few more months but all she can talk about is what her birthday cake is going to be. My problem is, every day, it's something different. She is not a girly girl at all, she is in to Backyardigans, Penguins of Madagascar, Spongebob, Little Einsteins, Rudolph, Lightening McQueen and Toy Story. I was thinking that maybe what I'll do is a cake that incorporates all these folks.
I'm not very good at making figurines so I was thinking I would do what I can and then supplement with toy figurines. Other than making a tiered cake with all the characters, I'm not sure of another way to marry them all together.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thx!
if you start thinking about that now you will just drive yourself crazy LOL trust me I know from experience... what I am going to do with my daughter is wait till 3 weeks before her birthday and ask her what she wants her cake to be then that will give me time to hunt and search for things if I have to.. HTH
A 'Toy Chest', cake could be relatively simple to make, and the all the toys could be incorporated that way.
Make the cake look like a toy chest and have the toys in, and around the cake?
Just a thought, not necessarily a good one...

A very good thought! Would be fun to see it!
