I found this today as I was looking for Neon color cakes....getting ideas for a zebra cake print, and need to have colors Neon orange, purple, lime green, fuscia pink, and teal....anywho, I found this and I thought wow what a great idea....here is the how too link

I love this method. Mine's a bit different, though- I don't reduce the amount of the batter. Kind of like this http://www.takeamegabite.com/?p=2800
I've never done it in neons. I'd love to see pics when you're done!
Heres another link with the step by step tutroial

I tried it last week turned out pretty cool
Both the links mentioned above are great.... I love this effect, I just did a pink and black zebra cake with pink and black zebra lines in the cake. The pink I did in basic white cake and the black I did with chocolate cake and black food coloring. I followed the instructions just as shown on both links and it comes out fabulous! It is very easy, the only thing I hate is all the bowls you have to dirty to seperate your colors.... Good luck! The only thing I hate is that both cakes I did this for where sales and I don't have a good picture of the inside!
I use the same basic idea to make rainbow cakes.
This was the first one I did: http://i56.tinypic.com/24yyd4y.jpg I learned quick to use more red and orange and less violet and blue. But it's a fun cake to make and share.
