anyone know any good filling for a marble pound cake ? was thinking mabe a caramel filling ? what are you thoughts on a good combo with marble cake ?

Choc mousse or hazelnut cream would be good

i've done a marble cake with a cookies and cream filling.

Whip cream or whipped chocolate ganache sound good to me. I made a marble cake a while ago and used Charlottes whipped BC recipe...it was very smooth, light, creamy and didn't need to be refridgerated. Next time I make a marble cake I'm going to try the ganache. thumbs_up.gif

These all sound like yummy suggestions. If nobody has problems with peanut allergies, there's a peanut butter-brown sugar filling in the recipe section here that would be lovely, too.

strawberry is the most popular one i get request for with choc/vanilla marble.
