cake is made out of fondant, buttercream icing filling and top animals are candles :) I charged $75 for it. prob way to little. What would you have charged?
yoiks -- you're barely over a dollar a serving -- ouch ouch and ouch --
question for you, please -- what would this cost -- a 60 serving cake -- at the nicest bakery in your area?
So I know I under priced my cakes. I did this wedding cake for $100 (don't shoot me lol) top tier is 8in middle is a 6in foam cake and the bottom tier is a 10in. She did not want fondant so its all butter cream with real strawberry in the filling. And the damask are fondant.
What do you think I should of charged?
How did you do the board? was it an impression mat or is it hand done? Lovely cake by the way!

AThis cake was a 12" and 8" two tiered cake for 100 ppl. I used all homemade buttercream. Vanilla cake w green swirls inside and raspberry filling in both tiers. The letters and animals are fondant. I also sprinkled it w glitter.

Just saw this, yes i used a impression mat but then went over it to make it deeper.
I agree the her ^^^; you should almost double your prices. AND.............you are thumbing your nose at the copyright laws. You really can get into BIG trouble if the creators of those characters ever come around. There have been many decorators who have lost even their homes by making such cakes.
