Does anyone know how to decorate using whipped cream? I can't use gelatine and tried to replace it with vegetable gelatine but this did not work. The whipped cream became watery and had lumps in it from the gelatine. I also tried to add lots and lots of icing sugar but this did not work either. Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe? I would like to be able to make fresh cream roses or basket weave.
Thank you

Not that Ive tried decorating with it but I have used corn syrup to stabilize whipped cream.
The recipe I've used is in this rum cake recipe:

Wilton suggests adding piping gel to stabilize whipping cream and there is this recipe that I've been meaning to try http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/easy-whipped-cream/Detail.aspx which uses sour cream.
