Thanks alot for the tutorial. If you don't have a wilton grass tip, is there any other tip you can use? I have tips for shell / pearl piping, rope nozzle (for basket weave's) etc?....

Not really I bought that one as it has loads of tiny holes and can be used for any fur have not seen another one the same.

Can someone tell me on the different ways I can make the tongue, eyes and nose?

in the smaller of the wilton tip sets you can get at walmart, there is a tip that has 2 holes instead of the multi like the grass tip, this one will work for fur, just will take a little longer to get the full effect. as for the eyes, you could use rolled tootsie rolls or white/dark chocolate chips, the nose could be starburst candies, and the tongue you could use fruit roll ups. a few ideas...hope that helps!

The original instructions said they used laffy taffy for the tongue. To make it a boy dog, you could put a spike collar on him

Maybe you could put a bandana around the dog's neck to make it a boy.

Ok. Is there a particular way you pipe it to create that effect and how do you stop piping each hair with it drooping? Also, how much icing will I need to cover it? The instrutions say to bake 2 9" cakes so it is alot of cake..

Also, do you put the bandada or collar before OR after piping?
