Hi all! I would like to make a honey jar cookie. How do I get the color for the honey? I only have the following colors on hand: red, yellow, blue, black, brown, green. TIA

yellow, a itty bitty smidge of red(not quite orange...more golden yellow), and a bit of brown

I agreeicon_smile.gif Go *very!* light w/adding any color. Remembver, the color will deepen some over time so stop short of what you think you really want icon_smile.gif If it doesn't darken like you want you can add more just before you are ready to use.
It is best to mix colors at least the night before you want to use them to give the colors time to 'ripen'.

Thanks for your help! I got it pretty close. I realized its a hard color to 'get' because real honey is transluscent and icing isn't. I first thought this was too orangey, but I put it near a bottle of honey and I think it's the closest I'll get.
