can I use gel or paste food coloring in and airbrush or can you only use americolor paints?

I don't have my own but I do use one at work. I'd say use only the ones that are made for the airbrush. But I could be wrong.

My opinion is to only use those made for the airbrush. They are already thinned down and the perfect consistancy.

If you mix color gels with alcohol you have a chance of some of the color remaining in clumps, and those will stop up the airbrush.

Only use the airbrush specific colors. The gel colors, even thinned down, will block your nozzle.

Unless you want to ruin your airbrush use ONLY the colors made for airbrushing!

i always use gel colors and mix with clear vanilla to the right consistency, make sure it is well mixed to avoid lumps. i have airbrushed for years and only use the pre-mixed airbrush luster dust.

Thanks guys I would hate to brake the airbrush the first time I use it!!!! But I'm waiting on canada post for my colors i ordered!!!
