Hi everyone! I have a order coming up for the 4th of July. The customer specifically wants 36 cupcakes arranged into a cupcake cake in the shape of a star. This will be my first cupcake cake and I've looked up some great tutorials, but I have been practicing the arrangment of them and trying to fit 36 cuppies into a star is not easy. I thought it would be really simple, but it's giving me fits!! If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it ASAP!

Here is what I came up with...I know it's more that 36 but this is the only way it looks right.

I came up with the same. I couldn't make it look right with just 36 cupcakes! Sorry!

I would make a large paper template first...find the center point and then place your first cupcake in the center and work out from there.. hope this works for you

I think it would be easier to make it with more cupcakes not only does it look better but when i bake cupcakes i make them in batches of 2 dz so it would work out better! Good luck!!!

I agree with the others...just add more cupcakes to make your shape!

I would make a star template and just start in the middle and work your way around placing the cupcakes in a nice neat pattern...take a picture of it...and there you go.
Good Luck!!
