Ok I offered to bring dessert for a friends "meet the baby". I was planning on doing cute little baby cupcakes. The host asked specifically for me to bring lemon bars.

a) never made them so I'll be hunting up recipes
b) I want to decorate them cute. I would prefer more than just a powdered sugar stencil
so......

If I put fondant on lemon squares would it degrade because of the lemon...what about white chocolate candy clay?


Has anyone ever done "cute" lemon squares...ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

instead of decorating the lemon bars how about making a box or cute cuppie to put them into. I dont think lemon bars would hold up to icing or fondant or chocolate decor. btw This months southern living has two lemon bar recipes that look delish! hth.
