I am still a little new with fondant, and have only covered cakes. I am wanting to try to make figures. I have a request for a Finding Nemo cake and was wanting to try to mold Nemo out of fondant. He won't be very big, just a small fish icon_wink.gif
My question is, how do you get the fondant details to stick to the figurine? I have read where people use royal icing, and then I have read where people just brush on a little water. So what is the best method and does anyone have any tips for me? I would appreciate any help icon_smile.gif

Take about 1 Tbsp. of hot water and add about 1/4 tsp. of Tylose powder to it. The powder will dissolve to give you a nice clear edible glue. You can use just water, but the edible glue works much better in my opinion.
