Has anyone ever sculpted a Saxophone cake? Please HELP if you can. Ive seen a few made of fondant. I would like to make one stacked with buttercream.Thanks

Here is one that I did. I found a clipart picture of a saxophone. I blew it up really big to where it printed out on several pages. I taped them together, flipped it over, covered with wax paper and traced the shap in piping gel(you could also use buttercream). I then lined up some square cakes to match the shape, and flipped the wax paper back onto the cakes and pressed over the piping gel. Then I had a nice line to follow to carve out the shape. I did the notes freehand with some of the leftover cutouts.
