Im making a cake for next sat and they want a white cake with whipped cream and strawberries as the filling, but the whole cake will be covered with fondant. I dont think whipped cream will hold up under fondant, so what other frosting can I use that will go with whipped cream? Will plain buttercream taste ok? I want something light, but not something that will melt and make the fondant sag. Help please icon_smile.gif

Probably IMBC or SMBC would be lighter tasting than regular buttercream. I think it will hold up under fondant.

Plain Buttercream would be fine, or white chocolate ganache. Just make sure you have a good dam so the whipped cream doesn't come out.
