What is the best chocolate to use when dipping cake balls.

Chocolate chips (white or chocolate)
Wilton Candy Melts
Merkins Chocolate Pieces
Almond Bark
Bulk Chocolate

75% melts to 25% real chocolate yields a good tasting yet affordable combination.

I prefer Merkins, but use Wilton if I can't get my hands on Merkins. Almond bark does not taste good to me, but it melts up just fine and will work if you like it's taste. Chocolate chips would probably work if you thinned down the melted chocolate with some vegetable shortening. I've never tried it myself though.

Lately I've used a mixture of chips and almond bark. Probably about 10-20% chips.
Most of it I flavored like cherry for red and orange using KoolAid powder icon_smile.gif
