I did one, just chilled the buttercream good, then stacked it and put on fondant accents.

It may take a bit of practice...but it can be done! Chill your finished buttercream well before stacking. Then decorate.

The topsy in my photos is all buttercream with fondant accents. After I frosted each tier in bc I put them all in the freezer until the bc was frozen. Take the bottom tier out and place it on its permanent cake board. Take the next tier and quickly put it in place, then the next and the next until you have all your tiers in place.
When I stack bc tiers I always use this method and I also make sure my hands are nice and cold when doing so. icon_smile.gif
