cakebaker1957,
I googled Hobby Lobby and Michaels which are the two Arts and craft stores I have in my area in Alabama and all I could find for Hobby Lobby is 135 Collins Drive Suite A Danville,VA 24540 434-791-4145
And for Michaels 1357 Towne Square Blvd NW, Roanoke, VAâ - (540) 265-8604. I hope this helps you.
Goodluck,

Actually, I mapped it and Vinton is very close too. Both Vinton and Salem are on the outskirts of Roanoke... I wouldn't go all the way to Danville though... I grew up around Danville and went to college out past Roanoke, and it is at least a 2 hour drive.

I mapquested directions from salem (didn't have a starting address but it looks like it put me close to E Calhoun ST, E Burwell St., and Roanoke College) to 410 S Pollard St. Vinton, VA and it says it is Total Travel Estimates: 20 minutes / 14.41 miles . Hope this helps

I'm not incredibly familiar with the Roanoke area, as most of the time I just passed through. I actually went to school in Blacksburg (Virginia Tech) which is a good 45 minutes away. Sorry I'm not more helpful.
