I have a cake that is due tommorrow (just found out about it yesterday of course) for a breast cancer awareness bake sale and i have no idea if the ribbon cakes i have seen on here are made from a pan, or if they are carved out of a sheet/half sheet cake. would love to do something like this instead of just a half sheet with a piped on ribbon on top. if anyone has any idea on how to do this cake i would love to hear it, cause i have no clue...TIA!

i figured out it would be a lot easier to just pipe a pink ribbon on top of a cake than it would be to carve one out since i dont have the pan and it is 15 til 9 pm and i just got the cakes in the oven. and am considering doing some cuppies too. late start to get a cake carved in time to ice it before i fall asleep. icon_rolleyes.gif
