Im not all together sure what to use for a cake base? I dont have money or space for many different ones for different cakes? is there an easy way to do this? any tips or advice?

Just buy disposable ones. I get mine at the local cake supply store
some grocery stores will sell you some. Publix will sometimes, depends on whose working. icon_smile.gif

are you talking about the cardboard circles or squares?

you can use anything...a pretty vase or a pretty bowl...a fish bowl...put a sturdy cup and pretty plate...i have used my cake pans...i put a vase for the pillar and set the next size cake pan on top of that...covered in a pretty fabric or paper...and voila!!! i hope this helps!!!! i have also used upside down margarita glasses and just set the cake on top of those!!!

Very nice, I love the creativity in it. Thank you. I guess ill just use what i have lying around instead of worrying about having to buy things icon_biggrin.gif
