Help!!! I Have 6 Hours To Make A Cake, But Don't Know What
Decorating By jesus-saves-us-7 Updated 12 Aug 2009 , 7:53pm by CutiePieCakes-Ontario
It's for a 14 year old boy, with no options for his cake. I am doing it free but would love to still do a great job on it. HELP me please, I need ideas....
Anyone???
I still need to bake it too
Does he like sports, video games, ??? I made an x-box cake for a teen once and he loved it. Just decorated a square cake to look like the box and used fondant for the controller and the buttons.
When I have orders like that I pipe bubble letters just hb and their name on a sheet.
Sorry I don't have any pix to show you
Also if you look in my pix I have a number of cakes using cutout fondant circles.
Maybe these will give you some inspiration:

Thanks to the both of you, you responded very quickly!!
He does like video games, sports, skateboarding, typical boy stuff. I guess I was looking to do something different, not real sure. I wanted to make a skateboard but don't have enough time for the wheels and trucks to dry.
What about just piping a skateboard top on it? One dimensional, so you just see the idea of a skateboard.
I would outline a skateboard, then maybe draw a flame design on it.
Quick and easy.
