Everyone says not to put fondant in the fridge that it makes marks....so I am afraid to do that

actually if you don't have a cream filling you dont need to store it anywhere to keep it form drying out... fondant like creates a wrap for it so it wont dry out, esp if it is completly covered. But like i said i always store all my fondant cakes in the fridge (always milk based fillings and smbc) and ive never had a problem with any marks on condinsation... although i was very scared the frist time because everyone said the bad things that can happen in the fridge! Turned out perfect over night....I almost went down at 2 a.m. to put it in the fridge, but I left it alone and it was ok. Thanks
