Fondant Swags And Ruffles

I plan to use fondant swags or ruffles on a fondant-covered cake. Should I shape and place immediately on the cake? Or should I allow the fondant decoration to dry somewhat first?

You need to pleat and add as fast as you can or it will crack on you..
