I think it's 9. I'm pretty sure. I have that pan and actually took a sharpie and wrote "9c. batter" on the bottom. I loaned it to a friend so I can't confirm but I'm almost positive.

What are you making? That pan is fun - lots of cool things you can do with it. My friend who has it was going to make a cake to look like a bar magnet for some homeschool science event.

I am going to make a beer bottle cake. I was just going to round the top of it off to form the bottle. Would you reccomend using that pan to make one? Or should i just use a regular sheet cake?

I had that loaf pan. I don't like using such a deep pan - it just doesn't bake up right IMHO icon_smile.gif I find using a sheet cake; c utting in long ways and stacking is better.
If you do decide to use the loaf pan it holds batter = to 2 cake mixes. For what you want to do you might get by w/1 1/2 (my *original* WASC recipe) icon_smile.gif
