I have a friend who is graduating from college and they are having a party for him. I want to make a cake. The problem is we are leaving on Thursday and they are having the party Saturday after graduation. Would the cake still taste fresh if I make and decorate the cake on Wednesday and they eat it on Saturday?

Thanks.

Yes as long as it is kept out of heat. Many, many bakeries and decorators on this site bake their cakes on Wed icon_smile.gif

Mine always are. Sometimes with my work schedule, I bake and decorate on Weds for a cake that is for Sat. And I have been at work when they eat it and no one says anything but compliments.
