I just wanted to share how much better i have gotten in the last 9 months or so. I am so glad i found this site and just wanted to thank everyone here you all are so helpful and i could not have come this far with out all of you so thanks again

I think that is AWESOME!!!! But truthfully....I think they are both amazing...I hope the other 9 people that looked at your work (but didn't comment) think the same thing!

Your cake is exactly why I want to "do cakes". The perfect board, the bright cheerful colors, the obvious lack of anything close to what a chain store could make....love it!

I'm patiently waiting for that "aha moment" when I'll finally see some improvement in my work.

When I looked at the first one I thought, how can you get better then this? Obviously I was wrong. The expression is captured so well on the second one. In the future when I make one of these, maybe I'll turn to you for advice if you wouldn't mind!

i love trying a cake and then doing it again in a couple months cause everytime you do a cake you learn something more i agree with everyone else the first one was great the 2nd one was excellent your really getting it down hope i can improve the same way

They are both great! I love the eyes on the lastest one though. They just really POP!

Both of your cakes are truly amazing. The detailing is awesome. You are very talented. Even the cake of 9 months ago looks like someone who has been doing cakes a long time did it. You are an inspiration.

When I scrolled down to the first cake, I thought that it was the one you were sharing as the improved one (gosh, does that make sense?) Anyway, i was blown away by the second cake. Wow, you did an amazing job on both of them. The first was really great, but the second showed attention to detail that really makes it stand out. Keep up the good work.

Both cakes are great. It's funny you posted SB cakes. I was just taking a break from the galleries where I was searching for a sb cake for my son....I think I now found it! Love Love Love the cakes!

GREAT job........they both look so cute. I wish I could only improve that much. You've got talent to see that the details make a difference, I do need to remember that & not get in a hurry & so frustrated.

those are great! i love the eyes in the second one..nice work! Isn't it nice when you can see the improvements yourself? Even though they both look awesome to me...the subtle changes are noticable and you should be proud of yourself!
