I want to get one Maisie Parrish's books on molding characters but I don't know which is better. Do you guys recommend Marzipan Magic or cakes with character.
If there is a better one I am also open to that.

If you are wanting to learn how to make the characters I suggest the Marzipan Magic. The same principles apply to fondant; 50/50; or gumpaste. If you want design help then the other is probably better.
