Is there any way I can make fondant cutouts for a cake a day or two ahead of time and keep them from drying out? I tried wrapping them in saran wrap on a board, but that didn't work. I really like to space out my work as I only do this part-time.

After wrapping, put them into an air-tight container like Tubberwear; store in the frig.

Do you know how long they would stay soft like this? Just wondering how far in advance I could do this.
