You know the kind with the Barbie stuck through it? I made the one below for a friend, but now I have to make one for a customer who told my boss she'd be calling the bakery tomorrow to talk to me about it. It wasn't difficult at all, but it is a carved cake, and I have to go get the Barbie, and the decorations are a little time consuming, etc. Just wondering what the price range is like out there. Thanks.

Some company puts out a Barbie kit. The finished cake sell for $40 as I remember. You might ck w/a WalMart bakery as they sell them.

If it is fondant covered then I'd suggest $50. If you supply the doll (real Barbie) charge additional for what you pay for it. Otherwise I use a doll pick or a cheap doll.

I buy alot of Barbies when I find them on sale...never pay more than $5.00. I charge $50.00 for most of the cakes. I charge up to $60.00 for more unique designs.
