You say you never get your cakes out cleanly, ever? We need to figure out why...what exactly are you doing, or not doing?

Same here, I have never had a problem with Wilton's Cake Release - however I tried their spray release and it was awful. My daughter loves to paint the inside of my pans when she helps me bake. icon_biggrin.gif

Homemade cake release with wax paper on the bottom--never had a problem. Wilton's Cake Release (non spray) works wonderfully also!

Hi, I always line my cake pans. Once the cake is baked, I let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then turn it over on to a cooling rack. So you don't need any knives or anything at all. icon_smile.gif
