Melted Chocolate Mix With Icing...is It Ok????

Can you mix melted chocolate to the icing for the filling of a cake????
and pudding mix???

If the icing is cold the choco probably will clump ...... you need to stir it really well to prevent that. Keep the mixer running and slowly drizzle the choco in.
Not sure what your ? is about pudding.

I have done this a few times, I have used to ice cake this way. It will clump so slowly drizzle with mixer running is best. also careful how much you add it does get solid also. I usually do with white chocolate, but have more problems with it clumping. Never have added pudding to icing.

You certainly can... this is how I make my chocolate buttercream. As mentioned above, the BC should be room temp. If it's cold the chocolate will set when it hits the BC

We use chocolate all the time in our buttecream recipe...We have not had clumping when we pour it in from a melted state...Just do it as your last step...It gives the buttercream almost a malted taste...YUMMY!!!!!
