There is a recipe out there somewhere but I don't have access to it right now....sorry. It is rather easy to make but takes several hrs drying time in a warm oven as I remember. It can be colored any color yoiu want if you make it yourself.

Otherwise I suggest using disco dust or similar on silver painted items. Would that work for you?

hi! they sell it in global sugar art. they have the regular edible and pixie dust, or disco dust that give a more realistic glitter efect.

I tried what Wilton calls their silver glitter but it was more like flakes for me. I would definitely recommend the silver disco dust from A & H cake designs. It is made by sunflower and is totally awesome.
