If you add gumtex to MMF, will it make it dry harder? And if so, how much do I add? My MMF does not dry very fast or very hard. I did add gum paste to it this time, but I do have a can of gumtex just sitting in my cupboard, and I thought I read somewhere that you can use it to harden the fondant. Anyone?? lol

Hi, I haven't used gumtex, but you can use it with fondant. Mix 1/2 a teaspoon of gumtex to 250g of fondant. But you have already mixed gumpaste and fondant isn't it? So try adding gumtex little at a time and see till you get the desired texture. icon_smile.gif

You it will help some. I just take a piece of MMF and dip it in the dry GumTex then knead it in. It surprised me how it dries it - fast.
Now you have to work quickly making whatever it is you are doing.
