o.k. I just thought of another question with this cake. Should the cake be CRUMB COATED with chocolate bc OR ganache BEFORE POURING chocolate ganache over the whole thing?
I would definitely coat the cake with chocolate buttercream first. You will get a much smoother finish to your ganache and not have to worry about bumpy crumbs showing up.
