I've been asked to do a 3 tiered round wedding cake all covered in chocolate ganache. Would love to see a pic of one if anyone has one in mind. Thanks so much for your help! icon_smile.gif

It's a 4-tier but it's a small one. My first totally covered ganache: http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=987333

o.k. I just thought of another question with this cake. Should the cake be CRUMB COATED with chocolate bc OR ganache BEFORE POURING chocolate ganache over the whole thing? icon_confused.gif

I would definitely coat the cake with chocolate buttercream first. You will get a much smoother finish to your ganache and not have to worry about bumpy crumbs showing up.
