Hi All

I have a request for a pineapple upside down cake? Im not sure if it can be decorated?

Im thinking to make the cake, cover it with SMBC and then put fondant. Would this work?

Also is it possible to stack two layers together?

TIA
Zakia

I'm thinking overkill.

Hello! I'm not sure if this helps, but....I fill my layers with the pineapple upside down filling and ice in buttercream. You can always flavor it to be pineapple as well, then cover in fondant it you wish. I hope that makes sense! icon_lol.gif . As long as you have torted and filled the cake, then iced it in buttercream or the icing of your choice...the possibilities are endless. That's what I've found anyway. I'm sure there are more experienced cakesters out there, but that's my little 10 cents worth! Good luck cake buddy! Let me know how it turns out and post a pic if you can!

i think im going to just make the a regular cake - no frosting/smbc

BUT i will make a little 4" (or whatever size a pineapple ring is) and experiement a little with the smbc and fondant.

thanks anyway.
