I made some MMF (recipe here on CC) and I wanted to use it for figures but it is too soft I know I could add gum paste but I'm trying to avoid that because every time I use gum paste my figures crack any suggestions as to how to correct this? any help is appreciated.

My MMF hardens a little when I put it in the refrigerator, then it should be hard enough to make figurines. I have not yet ventured into making figures, so I can't be for sure. Good Luck!

Have you tried to warm it up a little and kneed more sugar in?

Try kneading it really well and then just leave it sitting out for a while and test knead it every so often until you get the degree of stiffness you want.
