Does anyone know if I can use candy clay as a ribbon around the bottom of a cake?? I want to do a chocolate band around the bottom of a cake and don't want to buy a bunch of chocolate fondant just for a few strips around the bottom of the cake. I was thinking of using candy clay instead. I have never made it before so I am not sure of the texture and how it will hold up for something like this....
