I've just made mmf carrots for a cake that I need for Sat. They turned out great being it's the 1st thing I've ever made with mmf (1st time I've made mmf!). I was wondering what's the best way to store them till Friday night when I will have the cake decorated and ready to place the "carrots" on? I don't want them to look dry and cracked, but don't want them to be so soft I can't transfer them onto the cake either. Thanks in advance for any and all advice!! Shauna

You do not want to put MMF in the fridge, it will get a glossy finish and will become very sticky.

Keep in a cool, dry place........out of the sun.
Maybe in a kitchen cupboard.

Is it true MMF only keeps for about a month wrapped up?

I've had mine for at least a month, double wrapped in saran wrap and then in a baggie with all the air pushed out. Seems to have held up well. Of course this is the 1st time I've ever made it, so I'm not really one to give advice! LOL! I heard that it's good for a couple of months as long as it's sealed tight.
