I need to make hot pink, lime green and bright orange fondant. I have looked at a ton of gel food colorings at michaels and my local supply store, but can't find any bright/neon colors.

Do they make food coloring for neon colors or do you just mix a couple of colors together to achieve neon colors?

Also, does anyone know of a resource (cheat sheet) for making colors? (ie., to make burgundy you add 3 drops of this color and 2 drops of that color)

I don't know if there is a color chart - that would be cool if there was. But Americolor does carry the neon/bright colors you are looking for. I recently made a cake with those exact colors. I used MMF and the Americolor and it turned out perfectly. Good luck icon_biggrin.gif

My local store didn't carry those colors by Americolor.....darnit!
I might just have to tone down the colors of the cake and use what I can find.

Thanks for the links to the charts....That was just what I was looking for.

No I doubt many local places carry AmeriColor. There are on line places that off it.
Look for "neon" colors.....some stores carry powdered food coloring in neons.
