Chocolate Cake Sinking

When baking my chocolate cake, it ALWAYS sinks half way down the pan.
i only get to keep the bottom half... what am i doing wrong?

Without knowing your recipe and preparations, have you tried an inverted flower nail has a heating core?

Also, be sure you are not overbeating your batter.
