Question... I baked my cakes at the beginning of the week and iced them... but left the scraps un-iced. I looked at the scraps today and they were MOLDY!!!! I am worried that the cakes that are iced could possibly be moldy too????? Should I worry? It has been under a week. Please help.
They should have been refrigerated. If it hasn't been well chilled, there is a very high risk of mold.
