FIRST the issue with the baking powder (another post) NOW I open my Hershey's dark chocolate baking bars and they look DISGUSTING!!! I look for a date stamp and there is none...just a code. So I go to the website to decode the *$#@#$% stamp and it looks like it's best before September of 2007!!!!!!! WTH?! I am so pissed right now it's not even funny!!!!! icon_mad.gif

Definitely have to go to the store tonight GRRRRRRRRRRR icon_mad.gif

That's just bloom on the chocolate. Don't worry about it. When it melts, stir it gently and the chocolate will blend back together.

No problemo---its fine!!! I've used chocolate like that many times. Once even chocolate chips-----IMHO they're okay to use.
