Help!!! Pan Sizes.......

Hello, I need to know what size round cake pan would Iuse to serve 50 people for a baby shower?

I use the Wilton party chart for most things, I use Earlene's for weddings.

Anyway according to Wilton, a double layer 12" pan is 40, and the 14" is 63. So depends on if there are other desserts or if cake is the only dessert as to which one you want to go with.

Hi! I use Earlene's serving guide. Here is the link. She says 13 would be big enough, however I would go with a 14 or maybe a 12 and 8, I always like to make a little extra in case the pieces are cut too big.

A 12"x4" round will give you enough. Want to be sure - then up it to a 14x4 OR add a smaller cake to the 12.
