I was wondering how long fondant would last in a bucket? For instance, if I order the 20lb bucket but only need to use 2 lbs of it.. how long will the remaining 18 lbs last without getting ruined?

If you can keep it from drying out, it will last a very long time.

If it is wrapped really tightly in heavy plastic and the lid tightly on...it will last for up to 8 months or longer.I have had fondant for a year that is still good.
