I would love to do something like that! I read about these cake conventions and stuff. Shows or whatever.... I wish I knew of something close to home to go to! Would love love love it!!! That's what I love so much about this site! Pretty much everyone here has the same illness as me!!!! Can never obsess to much about it!! DD always says to me..." Mom! Cake is all you ever think about! " LOL! She's more right than I will ever really admit to her!!! ~hehehhe~

I'm late to the party, but I'm gonna cosign on the now-defunct Cupcake Bakeshop (http://www.cupcakeblog.com/). I've tried a number of recipes from there and Chockylit has never, ever, EVER done me wrong.

I'm sad she's stopped blogging but happy she's left the recipes up! Everytime I need an idea I head there.
