I never done cup cake wedding cake and have no idea on how much to charge?
The wedding is for 150 people, so bride wants 150 cup cakes to look as a tower and 8" cake on the top of the tower.
Can anyone give me a clue on how to colculate the cost for this cake???

well i charge $3.00 per cupcake with buttercream frosting only...$3.50 for filling or if there is any fondant on them...check your local cupcakeries see what there going rate is....
and then charge what you normally do for the cake plus, whatever you end up charging per cupcake and that is how you price it out.....and don't forget your delivery and set up fee!!!!! Good luck!!!!!

Charge at least your normal wedding cake slice price. Cupcakes are no easier.

I charge $2.50 per cupcake with basic swirled icing on top.If the brdie wants a fondant flower or other embellishments it is extra per cupcake.

Thank you ladies I finally got an idea.
I will do my best not to over charge or under charge.
I made some phone calls to local bakeries and their starting price is $2.75 to $3.50 and it's ofcourse what bride wants on her design.
